A dental treat with sugar listed as the 5th ingredient... Rawhide, chicken, pork, water, corn sugar. Can that be good for a dog's teeth?

Although they aren't my dogs favorite treats, the dogs do snack on them. Dogs teeth are very hard to keep clean so you have to use a lot of different means to try to keep them clean. You will still have to brush them or take them to the dentist. It is a constant battle. For the price, this is a good item to throw into the mix and give them a little bit of variety, entertainment and enjoyment. I would highly recommend, you can't go wrong.Every morning my 6 month lab pup goes out side looking for his treats that the bunny leaves behind. You can imagine how gross that is but these definitely help to cover it up. And, he loves them too! These were one of the first treats we brought home for him at 2 months. I wouldn't say we give him one a day, because we have a variety of treats, but he gets 3 or 4 a week.Update: I'm happy to say that after 6 months, my pup has finally given up his morning snack. He still gets Dental Stix though and continues to enjoy them.

My mother fed half of one of these to our 2 year old Chiauaua Lilibell everyday for a few months. She has been at the vet for 4 days with kidney failure and may not survive. Don't feed your dog ANYTHING from China.

We have two dogs, we have tried different dental treats to see what works best and what won't break the bank. Our dogs both choose this over any other dental treats we have tried. The price is great, and they work as well as any other dental treats we have tried for both cleaning and fresh breath.
Give them a try. Your dog should love them too!
