I have a super-picky older dog and two cats who LOVE the freeze-dried raw treats! They are really worth every penny since they never go to waste and they are the only treat I've purchased in YEARS that they all LOVE. My Shih Tzu's love these! I didnt think they would eat them at first but as soon as I gave it to them it was gone =)They have allergies to most grains, we feed them a grain-free diet & these are perfect & wont make them itch like crazy. My 15 year old cat has IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease) and is on a limited ingredient diet. I bought this for him since duck is the protein source of choice for him. It is very hard to find duck treats for cats! He loves these, and I am thrilled to be able to offer him a healthy, tasty treat once again. I got these because I have an elderly cat with both Diabetes and Inflammatory Bowel Disease and I was glad to find a ' novel protein' low-carb treat for him. He was glad too -he loves them. My other 2 also went crazy about them including the 4 month old kitten who who growl with horrible relish as he devoured the treats. I bought these along with some bonito flakes as a replacement to unhealthy processed cat treats (with disgusting ingredients and byproducts) that were making them fat. I make my own real meat cat food with chicken, turkey, beef, liver, heart, gizzards, bone and vitamins, so the treats were the only thing they were still eating from a shelf. Because it can be hard to find chicken hearts, I have to add extra taurine to the cat food. I like that I can now give them real heart as a treat or training aid. I chose duck hearts to mix it up a bit. It's a good price and there are a ton in the pack and it's a resealable Ziploc bag. The hearts can be broken into pieces as well. The cats love it.
