The bone I received was infested with fungus. Luckily there was enough fungus that I noticed it immediately. Beware before you buy this bone or give it to your dog. If you do want to give it to your dog, inspect it thoroughly for any signs of fungus.

I read the measurements of these bones before ordering them, but I guess the information didn't sink in. When the bones arrived, I joked with my husband that they must have come from dinosaurs--they're that big. My dogs are about 60 pounds each, so the bones aren't too big for them, but it's funny to watch them open their mouths REAL wide to grab the bone and get chewing. They bury the bones (in my sofa cushions, of course) all the time and love yanking them back out. It's a hoot.

WOW, you get a lot for your buck here! Soooo big, that my husband cut it into 3 separate pieces with his miter saw! However, my pup went through all the meaty stuff right away, gone practically in a blink of an eye (there really was not that much) but he sure did enjoy it while it lasted! At least there is a good strong bone left, that I believe will last for the rest of his life....seriously, I am not kidding! ;) he has 2 pieces left. I only give him this type of bone a couple of times a month. So we have a ways to go with the last 2. I will most likely not buy another one, but I am happy with this because of how mich he did enjoy it (the meaty stuff) and still does because it is a bone, that he likes to naw at.
