We have a Yorkie who easily destroys every toy he has ever had except his Kong rubber toys. He did manage to destroy the Kong Wubba as well so we were looking for something other than the tradtional Kong shape that he could play with. We got this one for him for Christmas and he loves it! So far so good on not destroying it. We stick the small Old Mother Hubbard doggie bone treats up inside it in 2 spots for him. We also use those treats in his regular Kong. It works very well for him and he has now started bringing Traxx to us to have it filled when he wants to chew on it. It is fabulous!

My Jack Russell Terrier is a power chewer. This has been a real issue since toys are expensive and most of them have been tossed out after being shreaded within days. This Kong Traxx tire has held up very well. I feel comfortable letting him chew away on this thing knowing that I'm not going to find pieces scattered around the house. I wouldn't want him to swallow the pieces either. He loves this toy and I love that it gives him a good distraction and outlet for his urge to chew!

My 15 pound mix breed is a severe power chewer she rips through every other toy we have given her, including the original Kongs. This is the one toy that she has consistently played with (it has been her favorite for weeks now) and hasn't been shredded. I am VERY impressed with its durability and how easy it is to clean. It's also perfect for stuffing treats inside when she needs more of a distraction and challenge. I am definitely buying another one just as a spare! LOVE IT!!

I waited a few months to write a review... My dachshund is extremely hard on toys and I wanted to see how this holds up. Definitely a 5 star toy, folks! The retail pet store wanted nearly $16.00 for this. I bought two for less than the price of one through Amazon. My girl hasn't worn out the first one yet. It is not a rock hard chew toy, so I don't worry about it damaging her teeth. She has managed to get a few tiny pieces off of it, but it's still like a new toy.

I really wanted to like this toy, but the shih tzu/bichon mix had small bits coming off in seconds. The daddy parent of the doggie was really frazzled and angry and concerned about this and ended up throwing it in the garbage. The Kong beehives we have had success with, they have lasted forever, but this one not only made a huge mess on the floor of teeny-tiny-little little pieces of black (?) plastic, but also sent the daddy doggie parent into a total tail-spin about the safety of the product...so for us it was a no-go.
