I bought these to put my cats in when we have to go into the basement for storm warnings, instead if trying to frantically cram them into their cat carriers. They all love it so much we keep these set up for them to hang out in all the time. Very well made, easy to set up and take down. I bought the larger size (36x24)for my bigger male cats, which leaves room for a litter box or food dishes if we are hanging out for a longer time, and the smaller one for my female cat. Comes with a nice fleece pad as well as a waterproof pad.

This is a great crate for travel and for dogs that will NOT chew things. This is not a wire crate. I have had puppies and dogs that chew. I would not recommend putting a dog that chews in a crate like this and expect it to hold up. (I've learned what not to do over the years! LOL) The crate serves its purpose very well for what it was designed for. I would not expect any puppy unsupervised to not destroy this crate. Enjoy this well made crate! A lot of us use them at dog shows. It's portable and durable!Buy Pet Gear Generation II Deluxe Portable Soft Crate Now
I have had 3 different crates sent to me and all 3 had damaged zippers when they arrived. The zippers are stuck and split when trying to zip open or shut. Very poor quality item.Read Best Reviews of Pet Gear Generation II Deluxe Portable Soft Crate Here
I purchased this crate from a pet store for my 60 lb labradoodle, planning to take it with us for camping and visits to the in-laws. I have a small car and a big dog, so I didn't want to be lugging a huge metal crate along with us, so a soft crate is a nice alternative. My dog's a shy girl, so I bought it a month before we'd need to use it to give her time to get used to it and enjoy hanging out in it. Here's my best assessment:Pros:
Pretty light weight, easy to carry. Clips to keep it folded down when you're transporting it.
Like the bags/pouches that are included. They're a good start for some of the dog stuff I have to drag along with me.
Like having 3 ways to access the dog/give treats: side flap, front flap, and "sun roof."
Like the reversible pad that's included to set in the bottom, though it's not thick enough to provide real padding.
Cons:
Velcro on the netting to hold up the flaps, only in the center of the mesh so the sides droop down.
Shorter than other soft crates, so the dog has to duck her head when she stands
Biggest con: the bars didn't lock completely straight and would partially collapse after a few minutes, even when the dog wasn't in the crate. For my scaredy girl, if that had happened even once while she was in there, it would take me months to get her used to it.
I ended up returning this crate to the store. It may be that I got a defective one, but the issue with the bars just wasn't worth the extra training it would take me to get the pup used to it. Other than that, it's pretty nice.

Have an older version of this product which has lasted a number of years. This version is not worth the money. After only four months, one of the zippers has failed, a corner has worn through, a screen has ripped, seams have started to come open and there are holes in the fabric. Very disappointed--love the style. Would not purchase again.
