This is the ONLY dog toy that I have found that my Great Dane power chewers cannot destroy! It's soft so you don't have to worry about chipped teeth, and yet strong enough that they can't tear bits and pieces off of it. My dogs can even tear up the stongest "Kong" toys out there! So I'm quite pleased to have found this great toy! It's big enough that I don't have to worry about them swallowing it too!

I highly reccommend this to anyone who has a problem with their dogs tearing up "indestructable" toys...this one will last and is worth the money!

I've got two big time chewers, an English Mastiff mix and a purebred Great Dane. They destroy anything stuffed in a matter of minutes and everything else in under an hour. The only thing that's worked so far has been Nylabones, though they still take off little chunks and leave them scattered around the house. I had heard good things about Planet Dog, but after feeling them at the store, I wasn't really convinced. Finally I caved and got a Luna since it's huge and can't be swallowed by the big dogs. They immediately loved it and ran around chasing it. Both can fit it in their mouth and love chewing it because it's rather squishy. I gave it about an hour.

Later that night it was still intact, so I gave it a once over. No tears, no punctures, the text was almost gone, but otherwise it was good. I was still a bit wary. A week later, I'm convinced, it's a burly toy. I don't know what it is, but Planet Dog knows how to make a tough yet squishy toy. If you have big power chewers, I'd recommend this, it's a great toy for the large and giant breeds.

This ball is a great size for my 55 pound lab mix. He loves it! It is tough, but not so tough that he can't squeeze it while he runs around with it. He squeezes it in his month and the ball just goes back to its original form. It bounces and it's fun in the water too. The treat hole is pretty large so it's not a challenge for my dog to get the treat out, but it's still an added bonus. I like the size of the ball because its big enough to kick it out in the field to my dog instead of throwing it. It's not as big as soccer ball by any means, but it's big enough. My dog is not into tennis balls so this was a risk I took and it is by far his toy of choice. The minty smell lasted a lot longer than I thought it would have. All and all a great ball I recommend it 100%!

How much my dogs like this ball is annoying. For years we've played with a Chuckit! Ultra Grip Ball Launcher and tennis ball. My Labradors are fanatic retrievers. (It's in the name and their genes)

Unfortunately, some folks keep bringing this Orbee-Tuff (LUNA) Ball to the dog park. As soon as they show up, my dog hunts this ball until she steals it which makes carrying the chuckit pointless. NOTHING matters but the Luna Ball.

I hate it... but I'm not the judge here.

My dogs rate this ball ten stars... ok, ok 5-STARS all around awesome.

I do hate it... because

A) It's impossible to pick up.

B) The dogs drool all over it, which then rolls in the dirt and it gets incredibly slimey.

C) It's difficult to throw, kick, etc... I am left kicking it because there is no way I am going to put my fingers inside this disgusting monster ball, then my right shoe is completely filthy to the point of needing a wire scrub brush to clean.

I've dedicated a pair of beater shoes to go with this ball, so add that to the price of the ball. (I'm not kidding.) Your clothes, your shoes, your hands All will be filthy~!

So, overall I am going to rate this five stars because I am not the judge.

For human interaction, I rate it one star. I hate it... but like I said, I'm not the one that needs to like it.

Two tips for humans:

1) Wear gloves

2) Bring a "waste bag" to carry this nasty toy home in. Drop it in the bag and hide it from the dogs.. because they will rip it open and play with it on the back seat of your car.

My dog has never liked anything non-food as much as this ball.

I would like to mention, I ordered the "Venus" or violet color and received the Luna or white color. ...not happy with the purchase but ... taking this away from my pups now would be torture.

ps: this ball is incredibly durable and washes easily.

I have a 105 lb. Doberman and he hasn't destroyed it like I thought he would.

The ball is really BIG and very soft, similar to silicone. He runs around with it all day and believe me, he chews the heck out of it and there's not even a nick.

Since there are no crevices, the ball washes nicely without any extra scrubbing.
