My miniature schnauzer looooves Greenies but had to stop giving them to him because of some recent food allergy he has developed. I looked for something grain-free and came across these Zukes Z-Bones. I wasn't sure if the Berry flavor would be all that appealing to a dog but he seems to absolutely love them, almost as much as the Greenies! The regular size is actually very similar in size to the Teenie Greenies, maybe just slightly thicker. The texture seems to be the same as well. The only reason I took a star off was because the red from this bone can get a little messy-definitely not something you would want to give your dog on a white or really light carpet. We give him his on his bed which can be easily washed to avoid that altogether.

My dog is allergic to grain, so finding a grain free treat or chew is difficult and they are always more expensive than regular treats. I decided to try this one, not expecting my dog would like berry flavor, but she did! They only downside (besides the price) is, it stained my carpet! I love the ingredients, I love that they are made in the USA, I love that I can get them conveniently delivered to my house. But my puppy does not like these bones. I tried Carrot, Apple, and Berry he wouldn't eat any of them. I even tried them a second time (all three flavors) in case it was a fluke or because of teething. He just doesn't like them. I will say we had a friends pup that came over and devoured these but for my guy he just didn't like the taste. I wish he did.
