The ingredients are much better than most dog foods of similar price. I spent some time researching independent reviews. Both of my dogs like the food and gave me no problems switching. The aluminum bag is a good quality package, the only downside is the bag is difficult to reclose tightly. I would have no problem recommending Artemis to my friends.

A very high quality, palatable food. One of the *only* dry dog foods that all of my chis will eat. The SHIPPING CHARGE on this stuff is OUTRAGEOUS almost as much as the food itself. Go to and enter your zip code. They locate a store near you where you can buy it. Most pet food stores charge about $50 for a 33 lb. bag. Save the $36 shipping fee for something else... toys and treats, perhaps. Or donate what you saved to your local rescue organization or shelter. If you can't buy it near you, other vendors ship it for about half what these guys charge.

I've been feeding my cats a mix of nutro and this product (for variety) and they all seem to love it (two kittens and an adult cat). The kibble is good sized and not too hard (so easy for the kittens to break up). The ingredients look good but I wouldn't feed as an only food for kittens (even though marketed as an all ages food).
