My Blue and Gold macaw loves this food. He doesn't waste any of it. It contains a good variety of ingredients and some whole nuts too. I was very pleased with the freshness of this product when it arrived also. My macaw is on his second bag of this and I will have to order more soon.

Nuts and food very dry not fresh, should have been fresher for the price ( very expensive) not enough of the good nuts mostly peanuts and sunflower seeds!

I've never had to deal with a macaw before, but I've had cats and dogs and other animals for whom I have provided care over a number of years. None of them compare to this bird. This macaw is the most finicky eater I've ever known, inclusive of any of my children or myself. If it does not get this stuff, it screams and caws and generally makes a noise that leaves me wondering why mayhem is illegal. However, when it does get this food, it's (relatively) quiet(er) and the value for this size bag absolutely blows away anything you can get locally.
