My 3 year old German Shepherd was having digestive problems with other dog foods. I tried most of the leading brands carried by Petco/PetSmart, etc. To get her digestion on track I had her on a bland diet (white rice and boiled beef) and would slowly transition to a kibble and some can food. Once I would get to 75% Kibble with 25% rice her condition returned. Our Vet even put her on a antibiotic and we tested for worms, etc. Finally, I decided to use Honest Kitchen "Love" and she transitioned easily over to it. I am on my fourth box and her digestion has never been better than it is now. It is a bit pricey, as the cost is a bit over $2 per meal. But there is no question she is much healthier on it than any of the others I have used.

We've made the switch from Sojo's (oat based) to Honest Kitchen. We've got two dogs 40lbs & 61lbs so these 10lb boxes of food don't last too long. Also it doesn't mix the same as the other flavors (chicken, fish, plain), maybe because the beef flavor is almost a powder comparatively. Anyways, the dogs slop it up just the same. We add other vitamins and nutrients in with the mix so they get the broad spectrum. We also add a 1/4 cup of regular kibble (Blue Buffalo) just to make it go a little farther and bigger in their stomach so they're aren't whining for food in a couple hours.

We also buy from a local shop because their price is spot on, plus it's good to help the local places.

Dogs are going great. I mix this with fresh raw for a dog with digestive issues and he's doing great! Just wish it wasn't so pricey. have a Saint Bernard!

Good food but expensive. I went through a phase where I wanted to feed my dog whole food with fresh ingredients. I know realize that this just isn't in my budget. Maybe in 3-5 years if all goes according to plan with my Dave Ramsey baby steps I will be able to buy this again.
