I have a French Bulldog who is about to be 8, and he has a trick that we taught him which entails standing up on his hind legs and jump-spinning around...sort of like a figure skater. Anyway, a few months ago we started noticing that whenever we had him do the trick, he looked like he was in pain and didn't do it full out, just sort of slower and less jump. So we started him on these treats and the trick is slowly getting back to its former glory. He absolutely loves them!!
