I actually ended up with fleas in 2 of my houses (thankfully one of them is 90% hardwood) I used this stuff in both houses every time I vacuumed either house when we had fleas. It helped but certainly did not eliminate the fleas in either home, so I'm not sure its really any different than just regular vacuuming and emptying the canister outside every time. If you have fleas I would recommend giving this a try as its pretty cheap but don't expect it to cure all your flea problems

Had a flea problem and we did not want to use chemicals due to having children...tried this product out and after a few uses it got rid of our flea problem.

I give this 4 stars bc it is an absolute pain in the ass getting this into the vacuum without making a mess. However, it does seem to work in killing fleas. In the future, I would probably go with something more like an actual pellet than sand.

Started looking for ways to get rid of fleas in my house and most of what I found had poisons, chemicals or something in it that could cause breathing problems. I came across this product Fleavac and it was all natural and it worked!!! I followed the easy instructions on the box and in a couple of treatments the fleas disappeared. I'm not sure if this product helped my flea problem, but it certainly didn't hurt and it made me feel better. It took me about 3 weeks to defeat the fleas that somehow got into my house, and over the course of those 3 weeks I tried everything. I think it was the DE that really did the trick, but leaving one of these pellets in my vacuum at all times made feel better about killing any fleas that I sucked up with the vacuum. If I have to battle fleas again I will be buying these pellets and using DE.
