The medium are a good size for my 30 lb Sheltie. This is his treat after his dailly brushing and he just loves them. They do help his breath although, as another reviewer pointed out, they are not a substitute for brushing. The pantry pack is a good value.

Because I was not able to find large or extra large Nutri Dent for my German Shepherd i decided to try finding some on line and was able to find the large ones. I noted they didn't smell right but thought it might be because they weren't bacon flavored like I am used to buying but to my dismay found the coupon inside expired 6/12 so the reason it smelled different and was crumbly is because it was out dated. I don't feed myself outdated food and I don't feed my dogs anything outdated either. I just threw away $27 so I won't be getting anymore. I will buy local and give her more than one. At least if I buy local, I can take it back and get a refund.

I give these to my Boston Terrier every morning for breakfast and he goes crazy for them. Which is weird, cause they're green and don't smell foul like the things he's typically drawn to, but he loves them. If I want to see him act silly I just shout, "BREAKFAST BREAKFAST!!" and his eyes light up like Charlie Sheen at a Thai brothel. Cheaper than Greenies, I think the knobby end helps clean his teeth better, and they work just as well regarding breath. Do this.

My dog loves these chews and gets one a day. The last order of two 50-count boxes from Amazon were both filled with excessively dried out chews covered with a foul smelling residue. Because they were so dry and foul, my dog refused to chew them which was formerly unthinkable. I returned them using Amazon's free postage return procedure and to Amazon's credit I was fully refunded. Maybe it was just a bad batch but I won't take the chance with my dog's health and happiness. I have switched to Greenies.
