My very hard playing, very food-oriented beagle LOVES this thing a very effective alternative to the separation anxiety induced barking that she would normally resort to. I give it to her before I leave for work every day and it keeps her busy for an hour or more. She learned how to use it almost instantly and she continues to play with it even when its empty. I cannot recommend this enough.
