I thought this would be a great chew treat for my bunny, but the first thing that he chewed through was the wood at the end of the chew toy that bound the sticks together. One day, the toy looked just as pictured...later that day, all the sticks were sprawled along the floor of his cage. So, I keep the sticks in a separate bag and then give him 1 or 2 at a time so he has something to chew on.

He doesn't care for it so much anymore. I wonder if it is because the sticks are so big?

the willow munch sticks are by far my favorite thing for my chinchilla to destroy. it takes him a couple of days as well, which is awesome as this is not terribly expensive and lasts longer than most things made for small animals to chew on. My rabbit also really likes this, but enjoys willow balls more.

My guinea pigs chewed the bond off quickly, leaving us with a TON of sticks. This ended up being a good thing. I would throw 3-4 sticks into their cage at a time and let them chew. They loved these sticks and they lasted a few days of chewing. I will purchase this again for my piggies.
