My dog is an American Bulldog Puppy and not very finicky.

She has a big mouth and gulps food down. I gave her a whole stick, and it didn't take her long

to have the whole piece lengthwise half down her throat, and 1/2 sticking out until is softened enough to swallow it. She was eating it like a snake!!!

She didn't choke but I saw the possibilities in the future and this demonstrates how important it is when dealing with new

treats to monitor your Dog.

I took the treats and I cut them up into small pieces and am giving it to her in small bites as rewards for obeying commands.

Cut into pieces, a pound and a quarter, is going to last a really long time

But since I'm not using them as intended dock 1/4 star.

I was in the park and gave these to other dogs with permission and around 1/2 took em. So dock another 1/4 star.

Considering I bought 20 ounces at WxxxxxT for $12.95 and they are made in the U.S with the 1st ingredient Chicken, this meets a great price point.

And they are nutritious too.!!

I noticed that other customers were upset that this had many other ingredients than chicken and that it's softer than regular jerky. They are right on both counts. That said, chicken *is* the first ingredient. Even more important (to me) is that the chickens used in this product are raised and processed in the United States. Since so many products out of China have had recalls (including some that have killed pets), this is huge.

Since this jerky is so soft, it is perfect for dogs who have trouble chewing tougher products (like real chicken jerky).

Here are the ingredients: Chicken, Barley, Tapioca, Chicken Liver, Vegetable Glycerin, Pea Protein, Corn Protein Concentrate, Dried Sweet Whey, Salt, Lactic Acid, Sorbic Acid (preservative), Hickory Smoke Flavor, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative), Rosemary Extract, Annatto.

Oh, and last (but definitely not least), my VERY finicky dog LOVES it!

I had first given this product a bad review because it was not what I call "jerky" It was spongy and rather soft. My dog likes the hrad crunchy jerky and that is what I thought I was getting. On the pluse side it is made in the USA. the seller contacted me and offered me a different ptoduct that was more to my liking. She really worked at making me happy.

My Dog loves these. As soon as I get home he is at the treat cabinet begging for more. Great product not a lot of unnecessary bi-products to create the product.
