Have used this product since our dog was a puppy at about 6 months...she has beautiful white teeth, and has never required cleaning procedure. Due to a broken canine in the fall, she had to undergo oral surgery by a dental veteranarian who complimented the condition of her teeth, that being minimal plaque accumulation over the 4.5 years of her life. Our 75# lab/border collie mix receives one each night followed by light brushing of her teeth with enzymatic tooth paste. She loves this treat and it signals her bedtime. When necessary to have her kenneled, we leave these treats for dispensing in lieu of brushing her teeth while we are away.
