My mom bought this for my yorkie because she was told it was good for him as a snack and would help with itchy skin. He is 8 years old and has been terribly itchy all his life. I have tried different things, including consulting a few vets, but nothing has really made much of a difference. I was sceptical because I had already done so much research and not found a solution and cause my mother is a salesman's dream ;).

I have been feeding him this stuff for like 8 months to make sure that his lack of scratching wasn't just a seasonal thing, but I am a believer. I ran out of the chips and it has been about a month without this treat, and he is back to scratching, biting himself, rubbing on everything, all over again. I am sold. I have to get him some more chips!

Coco Therapy Coconut Chips have been a wonderful addition to my dogs nutrition! My dogs will do anything for these treats, even my finicky maltese! I got these to help combat yeast, it's too soon to tell if they are working but I do know they have replaced my old treats for sure!

there's a very good chance that you're looking at this product and thinking "coconut? as a pet treat? do cats / dogs even like coconut??" i was looking for products to help with our shih tzu's dry skin when i ran across these 100% coconut pet treats, and while i wouldn't necessarily use these by themself as an omega fatty acid supplement (our dog's food practically floats in salmon oil and it's still not enough), i was amazed that all of our pets, cats and dog alike, actually seem to enjoy these as a treat, even the finicky ones. a simple, quality pet treat that all of our pets like is a rare find. my only complaint is that it's a bit messy. if you've ever given your pets bonito flakes as a treat, they're kind of flaky amd crumbly like that. it's definitely easy to crumble them into pieces small enough for even the smallest mouths and would work well crumbled over your pet's regular food, but as a treat by themselves they are a bit messy.

I mix two crushed handfuls in with my German Shepherd's dinner and he just devours his meal. I researched the effectiveness of coconut oil/chips for dogs and the effects on his immune system as well as his coat are great.
