Dancing Paws Shake'N'Zyme is an excellent product that my dogs love and do very well on. It is an enzyme and probiotic supplement that can be sprinkled on a dog or cat's food. It is made with Cheddar and Romano cheese so that it actually enhances the flavor of their food. My dogs love the stuff! And what I love about it is that it helps break down their food so that nutrients can be properly absorbed and utilized. This is extremely important to their overall health, and Shake'N'Zyme also has the noticeable benefits of less gassiness, firmer stools, and a healthier skin and coat.

Shake'N' Zyme is made in the USA at a human dietary supplement plant using "human grade" ingredients in accordance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) and Food Good Manufacturing Practice (FOOD GMP) standards, which was a big deciding factor in my giving this product to my dogs. FOOD GMP standards means that there are regulations in place ensuring that this product is safe, pure, and effective and that records of manufacture and distribution are kept enabling a complete history of a batch to be traced.

WHY DOGS AND CATS NEED ENYZME AND PROBIOTIC SUPPLEMENT:

Your pet may be deficient in digestive enzymes because the enzymes normally found in foods are lost when the foods are cooked and processed and also because as your pet ages the organs that make enzymes produce less and less of them. Enzyme deficiencies cause gas, constipation, diarrhea, skin rashes, bloating, gastric upset and lowered immune function.

Your pet may also be deficient in the beneficial bacteria (a.k.a probiotics) that assist in digestion and help fight unhealthy bacteria due to poor diet, antibiotics, prolonged illness and aging. Having an incorrect balance of unhealthy bacteria over beneficial bacteria is associated with poor digestion, inadequate Vitamin B12 absorption, systemic yeast infections and autoimmune diseases.

I bought this for one of my three cats that had stomach problems. It didn't completely fix his stomach issues (only a change in food did that) but all three of my cats loved it when I sprinkled this on their food.

I can't tell if it makes a difference, but from all I've read, it's a good idea to use it. I also like the fact that it includes probiotics.
