Blue Bird adores her Moo Cow. She received him in a large box of treats, but picked out the cow as her favorite from the start. I love the cow because it's washable. Blue carries Moo Cow around with her and sleeps with her at night. She has six or seven other toys, but Moo Cow is always her favorite.

For practical purposes, Blue is not a chewer. She does carry Moo Cow around in her mouth, but does not chew. She does lick Moo Cow, but the cow has not sustained any injuries so far (3 months). I've washed Moo Cow three times and he air dries within 30 minutes. We use all natural detergents. The squawkers are not horribly loud and are still going strong.

I would love to give this a higher rating because I was expecting more out of it from the reviews I read before buying it. It last about 2-3 weeks before my golden retriever, Leeloo, tore a hole in one of the legs and after that she kept going after the exact same spot. Worse than that was the fact that there was stuffing in it. I think I would've been find with pulling out the little squeaky toy in the leg, but I don't much like finding my dog with the stuffing in her mouth. It seems like more of a hazzard than the squeaky toy because she can chew up the toy and she can't chew up the stuffing which leaves more potential for it getting stuck in her throat.

We got one of these from a commercial, mass-market pet store when our dog was a puppy about 4 years ago. Our dog is small, but fairly destructive. He loves to rip out the squeakers and what little stuffing there is, though it does take him much longer to get to them than any other toy (hours rather than minutes). However, once the toy has been de-squeaked to his liking, he falls asleep with the head in his mouth, almost like a pacifier. He has to have it at bedtime or naptime every day. There is something about the shape of the head that is perfect for dogs to snuggle up with, that we have never been able to repeat with any other toy. We have had to buy this toy more than once, including direct shipping from the manufacturer GoDog. We have gone through four that have become to disgusting to keep (though they hold up great to washing!), and I was thrilled to find that you can get them now through Amazon. This is a toy we will continue to buy, and would highly recommend.

It would be great if it was bigger, my little dog loves it to sleep over but he cannot fit his whole body, it would be better to have an opption of bigger size, but still, good product, durable, and it was delivered on time.
