The problem with these types of seeds is that they contain too many different types of unhealthy choices for the parakeets. No bird is smart enough to make the correct dietary choices, so you end up with your keets only picking out the 'good' stuff, except the good stuff is basically candy for birds. Get your birds on Zupreem or some other type of pellet, it might be a pain to convert them, but it's worth it for their health.
