These cookies are slightly soft-baked, and although I'm a vegetarian of over 10 years and can't stand meat, have been more than tempted to try these due to their delicious smell! They have a wonderful herbally scent to them, and my dogs absolutely love them! These cookies are easy to break and 100% grain free. One of my dogs developed a problem with ALL grains, as well as poultry, and while "grain-free" doesn't include rye, oatmeal, etc., these are things that cause him to itch horribly, so finds like these are wonderful! As for the complaint below on the price (no comment about quality!), these are absolutely top notch, and are also devoid of dairy, something which I only give my dogs if they have diarrhea (which makes them quite constipated). Overall, I'm quite happy with this find, and recommend it (and the beef tripe version) to picky dogs or dogs with specific food allergies!

My dog and my sister's dog both go crazy for these treats! I love that the bison meat they use in here is liver, organ meat is very good for dogs, as is the rosemary and brewer's yeast.

It was very hard to find a treat that didn't have anything in it that would bother my dog, these are grain-free and don't contain anything else he is allergic to (like poultry or tomato etc).

Most other treats have too many ingredients, which leads to allergy issues, I love the limited ingredients in these.

Very much well worth the price! I will continue to buy these as they are my dogs favorite, and so far are lasting pretty good, (giving about 1-2/day).

I was feeding "Taste of the Wild" dog food to my new puppy because I wanted to make sure he got the most nutritious food. I bought a number of dog treats like these along the same line, and of course dogs will eat anything, however the cost is about double what I normally pay for such as Wellness WellBar Yogurt, Apples and Bananas Dog Treats, 20-Ounce Pouch. So I would not buy these again unless you have money to burn :)
