This seems like a fun idea for you and your dog, but in reality it doesn't work. My dog was bored with it in about two seconds, and doing it without treats only confused him.My dog (a 4 lb yorkie) didn't really "get" this toy. I taught her to pick up the bells by the handle, but she never caught on to guess where the ball is.... She much more prefers squeaky toys and playing catch and tug-of-war. Cute idea, just not sure how many dogs really would like it. (I'm happy for those who have a dog that does, though. :)
