When one day my cat woke up with one eye sealed shut, I thought she got into a fight with another cat the night before and had her eye injured. I decided to give it another day or two to heal. Two days passed and the eye did not get any better. Plus, I noticed some fluid coming out of her eye that was causing her eye to close. Being really concerned, I hit the internet in search of causes of eye infection and solutions to it and found the PetAlive Eye-Heal.
I favored the PetAlive Eye-Heal because it sounded like a product I could easily use on my cat. My cat can be very fussy sometimes, and she is highly sensitive to smelly medications and edible drugs in form of a pill. I figured, applying a little bit of the solution to a cotton pad and wiping my cat's eye clean would not be too challenging. And I was right. Although my cat could smell the product and immediately sense the hint of medication coming her way, she did allow me to put it on her eye twice a day. And she resisted me less in the next rounds of treatment as she realized that this made her eye feel better. In about two days, I could immediately see the benefits of the solution. And, in about a week, she was almost completely healed.
My recommendation to potential buyers is, to keep in mind that this is just a natural healing medicine. That is, it is not Rx nor known by vets (and the product recommends you seek a vet if there is no progress or condition worsens). Until you have time to take your cat to a vet, this product is a great cleanser and quick fix for your cat's eye infection (My vet told me to continue to use it if it is helping; it would not hurt). I would suggest that you apply it on both eyes even though only one eye may be infected, because infection in one eye can easily spread to the other good eye at a time when your cat's immunity is low. It would not hurt to apply to your other healthy cats living under the same roof. If your cat heals, you save a trip to the vet and the medication is reasonably cheap (Amazon.com is the best price so far).

I've been fighting chronic eye infections in my toy poodle for months. After 3 vet visits with attempts at using prescription opthalmic ointments, I decided to give this medicine a tray. It worked like a charm! Within 2 weeks of using this once a day (I know the package said twice/day I was just a wee lazy) her sore, puffy, red eyes were back to their normal color and all puffiness is gone!Buy PetAlive Eye-Heal, 50 ml Now
This is only the second day using this product. Yesterday I gave my cat 2 applications..one in the mid morning and the other in the evening. Chauncey has what I consider a severe case of conjunctivitis in both eyes. His inner eyelid was always visible due to swelling. I tried stuff from the vet, which he hated and I would try to keep them clean with warm water, which he hated also..This morning I saw marked improvement and when I gave him his first treatment today he didn't even wince or cower like he usually does. I believe it is making him feel better and he knows it's that stuff. His eyes look SO much better. He is a beautiful male ragdoll breed with gorgeous blue eyes and now I can really see the vibrant blue color of his eyes without the inner eyelid showing.. it's only the second day! He actually seems to like this stuff... it must be very soothing for him. i am so happy with this product!Read Best Reviews of PetAlive Eye-Heal, 50 ml Here
My persian cat has conjunctivitis. We use antibiotics but the vet suggested it be used for only a length of time. After using the antibiotics for 10 days it goes away but then comes back and we have to start the treatment again. I'm not a believer of constantly using pharmaceutical drugs on pets especially when it's made for humans. So I thought I would try this herbal remedy. It's good but the problem hasn't gone away. I clean her eye out with the solution (less water to get a stronger solution) and it seems to reduce the watery eye and swelling but only temporarily. At least this is safer to use.I have adopted three kitties that showed up in my backyard after a recent storm. The runt of the litter has always been thin and fragile and I thought he was ill and would not survive, I noticed the eye excreting mucous and puss. I did some online research and came across this homeopathic solution and decided to give it a try. I followed the instructions to a tee and religiously applied the solution. Initially, I did not see any progress. But about 5 days in, the eye had stopped excreting mucous and began to open up. After the seventh straight day of treatment, the eye has totally healed and the kitty is good as new. I would say, maybe even better. He has more of an appetite and has even put on some weight. I think maybe the mucous was a sign of some type of internal infection and the Pet Alive eye heal cleared that up making him feel healthier. I definitely recommend this product as an alternative to non-homeopathic treatments that are not only more expensive but may compromise your pet's health.
