These bones are wonderful and last for months, so don't let the price scare you. They are a little pricey when you get the X-large sizes. Don't buy the "whole" ones though, since they are like stone on the outside and I can't imagine a dog biting through to the middle where the marrow lies. The split ones are the ones you want to get. Our new puppy chews and chews on these. Our 10 yr. old Lab loves them too. They don't have a stinky smell at all like bull sticks do. They are not greasy, fatty or messy in any way. The marrow inside them, is loaded with minerals, which is good for the dog too. The ONLY negative to these bones is that they can scratch your hardwood floors while the dogs are chewing them. Our puppy tends to "toss" them around at times on our walnut floors, so I try to keep them in the the tiled & carpeted areas or outside. Otherwise, they are great!My two Keeshonds and two Australian Shepherds just LOVE this product. It is the best dog chew on the market. Several months ago, my vet recommended that the two Kees have their teeth cleaned no longer!! Their teeth are back to being white and, best of all, no more DOG BREATH!!! They are expensive, but a lot cheaper than having a dog's teeth cleaned!
