I have two Jack Russell Terriers and they simply love Bully Sticks! We have "bone day" on Saturday mornings and this is the bone they have come to love and to expect each Saturday morning. The only thing that buyers should be aware of is the "regular" bully stick is really, really skinny. My two medium breed dogs finish them in about 5 minutes. In my past purchases of Bully Sticks from other retailers, I have come to expect that "regular" size is more like about a 1/2" to 3/4" in diameter. These regular ValueBull Bully Sticks are more like 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter and I probably would not have considered them to be such a "value" had this size been established. They are however, 6" in length. The dogs still love them, but this was not the deal I thought I was getting.

If you are talking ounces you would be better off getting a 12 pack for 19.99 at petsmart. These are tiny. They are only as big as a pencil in diameter one way. They are flat and about half pencil size the other. I do not even know if they are truely pizzle sticks as the ingredients only say beef chews. I personally never saw a cow with a pizzle this small! Must be calf ones.I have small dogs so I am sure they will love them. They did come on time and were boxed appropriately. But for $50.00 it is not worth the price! As a shopper for dog treats for over 30 years these are worth about $25-$30.00 if you compare to whats out in the regular pet stores. Won't purchase again.

I've been purchasing several different types of bully sticks for my two Westies. I purchased these because they were listed as thin (I was looking for something smaller than the ones I've purchased from the pet stores) and the price seemed to be good. I would have to say that these are my least favorite. First they are all about the size of a pencil in width and length, which is just too thin for my guys; maybe a Yorkie would like them. Also, although all bully sticks smell, these are the worse smelling bully sticks I've ever come across. The only nice thing is they come in a reusable bag which helps to hold in the smell. The bag says it contains 50 sticks and although I didn't count the number of sticks I actually weighed them. The total weight of the bag was 14oz. With shipping I paid just under $55. I previously tried another brand on Amazon.com, which I thought was rather expensive until I received them and weighed them. Their 50 thins sticks weighed 1 pound 12 oz, almost twice the weight of these sticks and cost only $80. Additionally the Shadow River lasted twice as long as the ValueBull. The Shadow River sticks were larger in size and smelled a lot better, as far a bully sticks could smell better. They don't come in a reusable bag, which it too bad, but the bag is a thicker mil. So the smell didn't penetrate through the bag.
So far my two dogs have liked all of the sticks I've purchased for them so it comes down to my preference and I would recommend trying these other bully sticks for a better value and quality.

Very few of the sticks are the actual size shown. Many of them were as wide as a straw! It took my dog less than 1 minute to chew it up (the Regular size ones take him 15 minutes). Also, they were of all different widths nowhere near as consistent as shown in the picture. A complete waste of $$.Want ValueBull 50 ct Regular 6in All Natural Bully Sticks Discount?
I ordered these for my dog and they just seem to get smaller and smaller. Better off with "Best Bully Sticks"
