One day in September my husband and I returned home from work and found that our (slightly arthritic) 12 year old dog (mixed chow and shepard 65 lbs) was not able to walk. We think she was running down the stairs and wiped out on the linoleum floor. As the night went on she quickly went downhill and wasn't even able to hold up her body weight on her back legs to potty. We rushed her to the emergency vet and were told it was either neuropathy or a spinal injury. She didn't seem to be in any pain she just couldn't stand or walk. We were given 3 prescription meds to try and my husband picked up a bottle of Overby Farms level 3. After a couple days she started to improve but had a 'drunk' walk, she was very wobbly, fell a lot and still had to be carried up and down the stairs. 2 weeks later after a check up at her vet we were told that they weren't sure she would ever recover so we kept her on the meds even though Rimadyl has devastating long term complications. We had also discussed the 'alternative' but she was our first pet together and our baby and that was just too painful to deal with. Today (3 months after her injury) she is perfect! She can walk up and down stairs on her own, run, jump in and out of 'her' chair and she's so playful and energetic as if she were a puppy again. The arthritis has even improved. She gets up easier and is less creaky. For us, this is a miracle product and we'll keep her on it the rest of her life.

I have an older dog who does not appear to have arthritis, but I thought I would start him on a joint supplement just to keep him as mobile as possible. Within a week of starting on the initial dose (twice as much as the maintenance dose for 3 weeks), he was running and jumping more than he has in years. I have to work to keep up with him now, and it used to be the other way around. I have tried other joint supplements on other dogs I have had in the past, and I believe they all work to some degree, but I have never seen such a marked difference as I did with this product. I thought my 11 year old dog had simply matured into a well behaved angel who no longer "counter surfed" and helped herself to whatever she wanted. There were no obvious signs of discomfort that one associates with an aging dog; no difficulties getting up from extended periods laying down, still playful with the other dogs. I just thought perhaps she could use some glucosamine & chondroitin supplements to aid her aging joints. After only a week at the initial dose level my dog was back to her young dog naughty ways. My Lab has severe artheritis and this was my last hope. I did exactly as the directions said and after 6-8 weeks I saw a significant difference. She started to go on short walks which in turn made her legs stronger. I bought her a red rubber bone (Kong) and I put a tablet on each side she loves the taste so she cleans her teeth while getting her dose. I will be ordering this again and again.
