We were told that dried liver is the most delicious treat for dogs, filet mignon for a dog. We were advised to use them for potty training rewards only, and it working extremely well. This brand of dried liver was the purest we could find, and not only does our puppy lick her chops for them, so do all the other neighbor dogs.

Great low fat, high protein treat, but it does make the dog have gas... Due to the high protein it may be hard for them to digest, but I used it as a special treat, given randomly, not regularly.

My animals are so crazy about these that I tried an experiment. I was in the kitchen and the cats and dogs were sprinkled throughout the house. I gingerly pried open the top of the bag, I swear I didn't make a sound. As I reached in the bag, quietly as possible, all four animals came bounding into the kitchen. The cats where trying to climb my legs and the dogs were obediently sitting and staring, waiting for their treat.

I like that I can crumble these onto food if I need to encourage eating. Also, I can break them into smaller pieces suited for the cats.

Can't recommend them enough!

I have one dog that can eat anything and one that has a very sensitive stomach. They both LOVE these treats! And they do not upset any tummies.

I signed up for Barkbox and these liver treats came in one of the monthly deliveries. I would have never thought to look for these and if I found them I doubt I would have tried them. Not because of anything other than me getting overwhelmed at the treat selections these days! My miniature Dachshunds LOVE these! They get crazy wild eyes and jump and cry at me while they wait for me to break off small bite size pieces. They break so easily, they start "melting" as soon as they are in their mouths but have a great chew and are easy for my tiny three month old to enjoy. They are hands down their favorite treat and second to dehydrated fish treats I buy from The Honest Kitchen. I like that they are one quality ingredient. I do not think $6 (average cost on web) is expensive for this bag of treats. They act like I am giving them the most amazing thing in the world, it's a healthy treat, it's safe for dogs that tend to not chew and scare you-they are freeze dried so they dissolve a bit. They seem to like they texture. Its just like the Space Icecream for humans... but liver. Super great treat for the money!
