I'm not going to buy this brand of shrimp pellets again. They won't sink worth a darn. The HBC pellets are much, much, much better.Update: I've rethought my initial feelings about this product. Aqueon is a very good brand and deserves a better rating. The sinking issue isn't all that important.

In my aquarium, I only use Aqueon food. I use Aqueon 06044 Goldfish Flakes, 7.12-Ounce for my three goldfish and I use Aqueon shrimp pellets for my Corydoras Catfish. Your bottom feeders will be forever grateful for your purchase as they love to eat (Or in my case of fairly young catfish--nibble) on the shrimp pellets. Since I've gotten the pellets, my Catfish completely ignore the goldfish flakes that fall to the bottom of their watery habitat and instead go on a small scavenger hunt for the small, sinking pellets. The product is of very high quality, being made mostly from whole shrimp meal, and providing 38% minimum protein. The individual pellets are each about 4mm in diameter, the perfect size for baby catfish to nibble on, or for larger, fully grown bottom feeders to eat whole. This product, along with all other Aqueon food products, WILL NOT CLOUD YOUR WATER if used correctly. The only gripe I have is that one out of every ten or so will decide it wants to float instead of sink, in which case you may just want to hold under and let your larger fish consume it, which is a challenge in its self for the ones that sink! My goldfish love to eat some of them as they fall, and have no ill effects as others have mentioned. For $5 and some change plus free shipping with Amazon Prime, this food will surely beat the price of any chain stores and will last my 4 catfish well over a year!Read Best Reviews of Aqueon Shrimp Pellets Fish Food Here
I'm sure the food is good but my fish are so used to flakes that they are timid when eating this. time will tell however. On a side note, the phone checks out as very healthy and even packs 200 mg/kg of vitamin C.After eating this stuff, my gold fish behaved very weird. Then, I found out that my fish became constipated. Then, I start feeding it with peas. After the pea treatment, my fish got well. However, whenever I start feeding the fish with this one, it becomes constipated again. Finally, I tried another product, which is flake. Hopefully, there is no problem at all now.
