If your small dog is an aggressive chewer then this is not the product to buy. These chews are easily chewed up and I don't think they did much to "clean" their teeth. My little dogs bit off chunks of these and swallowed them within 1 minute.... I am going to stick with the C.E.T. HEXtra Premium Chews (medium) as they have a bit more resistance and they take longer for the dogs to soften and and makes them work harder to chew through.

I always buy CET VeggieDent Chews for my two dogs. They love them! My two cocker spaniels get them before going to bed. I think their breath got improved after they eat the chews.

My vet recommended these because they are healthy, as well as cleaning my dog's teeth. They only have 1% fat in them. We break them in half; she gets a half chew when she comes in from doing her thing outside. Her teeth are nice and white, no tartar thanks to these chews and my brushing her teeth.
