I was having an issue with Bryopsis in my saltwater tank. By using tech M to raise the mag to 1600+ for a week it killed off all the Bryopsis in my tank. Beware other brands do not work on Bryopsis. Do a google search if u are unsure! Works great and good price too!

This works well for raising magnesium. I was also using it to remove hair algae. The problem with using it for this unintended usage causes sps to start bleaching. Not a big deal though. They went right back to normal after a couple water changes. The reason I mention this is I wouldn't recommend using this product unless you have a mag test kit to make sure you don't raise the levels too high, as it does not seem to be 100% sps friendly.

Also seems to kill bryopsis and raise mag levels in my aquariums. truly a multi-purpose product!
