My dog was obsessed with this toy when I first got it. Even after he got the treats out, he would carry it around and gnaw on it. The problem is, the holes are so narrow they quickly deformed and after only about a week of having it they no longer could hold treats. As much as he loved it, it was not worth ordering another one because it didn't last longer than a week. Great toy for weaker chewers, but for stronger chewers or bigger dogs like mine I wouldn't recommend it.

Actually bought this from a local pet store with the treat refills, but found that the Nylabone treats are way too easy to get out of the toy. My dog is a little 1-year-old terrier but is quite the chewer and diabolically smart. I tried freezing the treats with some peanut butter in them to glue them in place but my dog still dug them out fast. So now I use little cubes of Natural Balance roll that I smoosh into the treat grooves and it works great! Keeps the little bugger entertained for about an hour, and whenever his attention wanes I throw the toy and he's captivated again. -1 star because the Nylabone treats don't work the way they're supposed to, but otherwise I'm happy with this toy as a distraction/chew toy.

Yes, I have a chewer that can destroy most things in minutes.

She loves this toy. I have to replace it every three months, as opposed to being destroyed in three minutes.

I wouldn't buy it for bigger than a medium size dog, but if your medium dog can chew with the big boys this one is great.

Your 100lb dog will rip through it. Your 50lbs or less will get a few months out of it.

She continues to chew on it even after extracting the treat. After about a month, she did manage to reach the receptacle for one of the treat slots. Still lasted longer than anything else. Will wait until she completely destroys to replace, and just fill two of the slots with treats.
