I own a 2-yr-old, medium-large mixed breed pup. I am always on the lookout for toys that might withstand heavy chewing, and it's even better if they also slow him down at mealtime. We are on our second Realtree Chuckle, which I purchased in June, and I will have to throw it away soon because it is coming apart at the grooves. (The first Chuckle suffered the same fate in about the same amount of time, so the company might note those areas could use improving.) The reason I repurchased this product is it does a great job while it lasts. Its funky shape gives it a funny bounce, and the "chuckle" sound is fun though it doesn't work consistently--the toy has to be shaken pretty hard or hit the ground in a certain way to cause the noise. Premier has the right idea putting the inward-facing rubber "fingers" around the openings. My dog spends a decent amount of time tossing the Chuckle to get his kibbles out of it. I will probably buy another in the future because so far, 3-4 months is a fair lifetime for a toy my dog chews daily.

It's okay, a little too heavy for my dog actually. I wish it were lighter. I also think the holes could have been a bit larger, I use my own treats and they don't fit in this. I can see where a big, active dog would love this, it's a well-made product, I just happened to buy the wrong thing for my needs.

My dog isn't too thrilled with this toy...he could take it or leave it. Very cute, but not at all good for extremely aggressive chewers, pieces will definitely come off if worked on for a bit. The bounciness of this toy scared my boy at first, so it was kind of funny to see him barking at a toy that bounced when he dropped it. I have found through trial and error that my boy prefers hard bones, Nylabones and Kong toys.

My two dogs won't play with or even chew on this toy. And they are not picky dogs, will chew on anything. This toy will only make a noise if we pick it up and shake it hard, the dogs can not make it rattle. Waste of money.

I have a Germany shepherd mix that went through chew toys found this at academy on sell for $4 and was like it was worth a shot getting it. I know this is my dogs favorite toy she loves to play fetch with it and also it is so darn durable. I mean for like a tennis ball she would chew it up in one day this we had for two years. Must try you will like it.
