We got one of these a number of years ago for our schnauzer at the time. He liked it, played with it, carried it around and so on. For reference he never tore up any of his toys we would buy. He passed on a couple of years ago and the toys were passed along to our new schnauzer who I figure would most likely make hash of them. Again, he plays with them but does not tear them up and again carrot is the paws down favorite. For whatever reason he likes to "hike" carrot, much like what you see a football center do hiking the ball. He manages to get this thing 2-3 feet behind him, sometimes more. But after two dogs and many years carrot has seen its better days and one of the seams is starting to let loose. The squeaker still works and it's simply hilarious when it makes its sound when shooting out from underneath the dog.

it doesn't giggle much at all. in fact, you have to really really shake it to get any noise out of it at all. not a good buy in any way.

i purchased this for any one of our dogs for christmas the years before last in 2011. zorro loves it and has managed to dimantle it. so my mom got him another one. i am surprised it lasted as long as it did. usually with our shih tzu's nothing lasts long this did. hence why we got another one. mine has the pink fire hydrant and loves it. would highly recommend this for anyone. usually our guys destroy toys within minutes. not with the zanies. thank you

This is a cute toy. Larger than expected and very colorful. However the "noise maker" was chewed within 5 minutes of giving it to my miniature poodle. I wish it would have lasted longer.
