We buy a lot of dog products from amazon. We bought these in August but didn't get around to opening them u til December.

This bag was burnt product inside. We've bought dozens of the same treat with great success, but I guess a few bad ones get thru.

I DO NOT blame the seller at all, this was a manufacturing issue before product was shipped. They came from china, which always worries me..

I do not feed food products originating in China to my dogs because of their past history of allowing contaminants into the food.

I would appreciate it if, in product descriptions, you would identify country of origin of these food products so that we, as consumers and pet owners, would be able to make educated choices about what we feed our pets.

These are my collie's favorite treats. When given a choice of treats he will pick these first. I used to get them locally at PetsMart but they have recently been unavailable there. Checking on Amazon I found them in 15 oz bag rather than the 5 oz size available through PetsMart at a better price than when on PetsPerk.

Some reviewers comment on varying texture and dryness. The ones which I got at PetsMart varied and my collie preferred the drier ones.

They are quite healthy, good for his eyes, skin and coat and no fillers.

I did have some concerns when I found that they were made in China. However checking indicates that Dogswell maintains very good quality control and continually checks product. It is chicken and duck treats from other manufacturers from China where problems have been identified.

Can't believe I used to feed my puppy these treats. Never again. I feel sorry for people who assume the high pricetag means a high quality product and feed these to their pets without knowing they are made in China.
