Used to use Synovi MSM granules but since this no longer seems to be available, I've been looking for a substitute. I first ordered the JOINT MAX TRIPLE STRENGTH HYPOALLERGENIC formula (actually ordered this type by error). It worked fine but had a pretty darn unpleasant aroma. When I needed to reorder, I got the "regular" formula and it seems to work at least as well as doesn't smell as bad. I expect to continue using this with my six year old greyhound GROVER.

My 10 year old black lab has been on Joint Max for over a year now. Prior to this he was diagnosed with a degenerative spine....like a herniated disc. This product for the combination of glucosamine and chondroitin and quantity/price ratio is superb. While it can't be expected to correct severe arthritis, it provides fantastic support for older dogs. I recommend it over food with the ingredients listed as additives. The results are pronounced and they like the flavor, which is very important.
