I'm calling this the one hour toy but I believe I'm being generous. My 45 lb lab mix had this distroyed in no time. As soon as I opened the package and felt the material I knew it was a goner. I filled it with treats, gave it to her, went to get ready for work, came out to leave and it was gone! Nothing but scattered chunks of plastic and frayed rope. :-( it may not be expensive but it's not THAT cheap.

I've now bought my second one of these since the first got a little nasty with all the food treats. That's not to say that I didn't get my money's worth out of it! I have a tenacious terrier that bores easily and loves puzzle toys, which I would categorize this one as. He brings me this toy (I bought the small version) and drops it in my lap every day wanting me to fill it with treats. It keeps him busy for a good 20-30 minutes, and repeatedly comes back for more. He simply cannot get enough of it. Of all the puzzle toys I've bought him, this is his favorite. He brings it to bed every night too. Love it!

I have a male German shep/great Dane mix 15 months old, and he plays " politely" with any toy. I also have a pit mix and she destroys everything as fast as she can...it seems to be a goal of hers! This toy was shredded in about a week, by her of course, but the big boy still carries the orange green and blue thingies around, not to destroy but to chew, like a pacifier. Trouble is, it fits completely in his mouth so he looks like he has some chewing neurosis! Too funny! Anyway, if you have a shredder, don't bother. A better choice is the octopus looking multi colored know thing. My pit mix has yet to destroy it. The only leg she destroyed is a microfiber one with little tufts (looks like those cleaning mitts with inch long fingers). After I picked up all the tufts, I love it. She continues, 6 months later to try and worry the knot loose. He, on the other hand, has manners and uses it as a tug tog to play keep away with (from the pit, not me).

Our little min-pin mix was able to untie the knots, chew up the plastic, and let the other dog have the treats--all in about two hours. Really weren't cost effective for us.

I am a fan of JW's rubber toys and decided to try this one for our 6 month old lab puppy. It is easy to fill with kibble, actually maybe a little too easy it falls out the other side sometimes. I fill 1 or 2 of the pods and it takes him about 10-15 minutes to finish the food.He likes it. So far I am happy with this product. I would recommend for someone as a feeding toy.
