I know that dog toys don't last but I have a 28lb Beagle and he likes to chew I got him this for his first birthday and first the package on Amazon looks much bigger then it actually is to say it is a trinket is an understatement and it lasted about 1 hour before it was done. I dont recommend this but I highly recommend Kong products as they are very good but this was a disappointment.

First of all, if color matters to you, please go by the description not the picture. Yes, it is red and the rope is brown. Color doesn't seem to matter to our dog and he loves this toy. It is well made, although I will say that our dog is not an aggressive chewer, and I doubt that this would last long with a dog that is.Buy KONG Goodie Bone with Rope Dog Toy Now
If you have a terrier, or a dog that loves to chew like crazy, move on this is not the toy for your dog. If you have an occasional chewer who isn't the type to rip the eyes out of a stuff animal, this is a great toy for your dog. The Kong Goodie Bone has a small flexible Kong bone threaded through a sturdy rope. My papillon likes to toss this toy around and to chew on the rope portion, although I haven't seen him chew on the bone itself at all. I ordered this for my new papillon puppy. She seems to like it, and I can wash it in the washing machine when it gets dirty. I have already washed it 4 times, and it still looks like it did when I bought it.
