I've been buying these for years, and without a doubt it has been the favorite toy in the house. The only drawback is when the rope does wear out it leaves strings all over the house. But they last long pretty long so I don't mind.

We love the Booda 3 knot ropes for playing tug and then letting the dog rip them up. She loves to chew and she loves to pull things apart; we love things that take time (keep her entertained!) and clean her teeth at the same time. These booda ropes do the trick.

I have a German shepherd he eventually breaks any such toy, but this one has lasted for a few months now and is still going strong. The trick is not to leave it around when he's bored, or he'll eat it if he's given enough time. It's thick enough that it would take him more than a 'left the room, he ate it,' but I imagine he'd get through it in a day.

My dog can chew through anything in ONE DAY, so I was very pleased to see this rope live for over a month. It actually did smell a bit like mint. Warning, once it is chewed through enough you will have a rope explosion which is also very entertaining for the family and the dog :)
