I have a larger bulldog who constantly needs to chew. He has a really strong jaw and a sloppy wet face. These keep him occupied for hours. He only removes small pieces at a time so he's not swallowing anything too big. He's never choked even a little on these. Ive spent a lot of money giving him dog-friendly items to chew and so far these are the only thing worth the money. I'm ordering several more no that he's half way through his last chew.

These are great for aggressive chewers. Your pooch will be happy and you'll be happy to further preserve your belongings from lovable pooch teeth.

The only drawback is I don't think these manufacturing is consistent. There was one that I opened and he didn't care about it for weeks until he'd destroyed everything else in reach. Not sure if the basting was lacking?

One of the longer lasting chews I've been able to find for my pup. She's a Dutch Shepherd mix weighing 60+ pounds. I've clocked her going through a 12" bully stick in 20 minutes and that's with some fumbles as she tries to find the best hold.

PROs:

Definitely worth the money

Dog is crazy for it

Stays mostly in one piece

Doesn't smell too much

CONs:

I find small dry pieces flaking off the rawhide when first unwrapped and it gets all over the couch and floor

If you don't take it away the dog may go through the whole ring and that much rawhide can't be good for them

It's heavy so neighbor downstairs and wooden floors are not a good combo for this.

Dog farts more and smells worse

I have a larger rescue dog (black lab, Shepard? mix) who loves chewing on these braided rings. It sometimes takes her a few days to get started chewing the ring, but once she does, she enjoys these. She's pretty aggressive when chewing treats (she can get through a regular rawhide chip in about 5 minutes), but these rings last her 2-4 weeks. She probably chews for an average of 45 minutes a day, off and on. I like that they are made in the USA. It stays together as a whole until the very end. She does not choke on these, as she occasionally does with smaller rawhide chips. The two pack is a better deal, and I always have one on stand by, but I did try the single out first to see if she liked it. These last much longer than the rawhide rolls last her.
