Dog ear infection treatment has been a never ending cycle. Chronic ear infections in the dogs ears always a problem. Prescription dog ear medicines, antibiotics for ear yeast infections, allergy pills, test after test, dog ear infections kept coming back. Then we tried this OTC dog ear drops and to my surprise it did work to treat the dogs ear infection. My golden retriever has had ear infections all of his life and I've tried many remedies with varied success. Dr Dogs "salad dressing" is the least effective treatment I have used on him. One reviewer stated that the company refused to disclose the ingredients except for the olive oil. My opinion is that they won't tell you because you could make this stuff yourself for way less than $20, it smells like olive oil and garlic.

My advice is to get a professional opinion of what's causing your dog's ear problem before any treatment.

Tried this product and used it as indicated with no results whatsoever...in fact my dogs ear worsened. The instructions claim that after a couple of days of treatment you will see improvement. I gave the product a week, unfortunately it was a waste of my $! I read the (promising) reviews and really thought that it would help with my dogs ear mites and yeast infection as it claims. It didn't...Save your money!

Dr Dogs Ear Oil worked great for our cats and dogs. We live on a farm and ear problems have haunted us, whether ear mites or ear infections, someone always has sore ears and it gets expensive going to the vets office all the time. We decided to give this a try because it works for cats and dogs (others are for dogs OR cats so multiple meds needed) We weren't sure if it would really work but with all we've spent at the vet we were hoping it would. Happy to report that this ear medicine is a pure miracle for our animals. It has taken care of the problems in our dogs, cats and now we're even using it on our horses ears. Just came back to get another bottle, had to comment more as I saw others worry about ingredients. I have a very allergic dog and this has really helped his ears. Someone else talked about ear mites, i think they don't know about treating ear mites because anything doesn't get rid of mites unless you give treatment daily for at least a week and then treat them again after about 2 and half weeks. We have outside cats get them all the time, you have to do treatments right because there isn't any treatment that can kill the eggs of mites, they have to be killed after hatching. We get mites here all the time and I know plenty about that so when someone said it didn't help with mites I think they didn't do it right. (just sayin, for natural treatment, this has been the best and we are using it on the cats, dogs and some special bunnies) Anything has to be done right to work right.

I also would have liked to try this product for my dogs ear problem but would not consider giving, or using anything I did not know the ingredients of. Just because something is all natural does not mean it cannot harm, and I too believe they are breaking F.D.A.guidelines.
