My Pug puppy goes through very quickly so I thought I'd try the monkey with Chew Guard. Not sure what the Chew Guard is all about, but this toy has held up amazingly well. I bought the dragon one at the same time and it my dog chewed a hole in it the first week.

I purchased two of these for my daughter's dog. The dog had chewed off both ears from one of the monkeys within about five minutes and was able to chew off the tail, too. I do not recommend this product.

My jack russell bit three holes in this toy within 10 minutes. Within an hour, the monkey's legs were torn off and strewn across the house, along with all the stuffing. She figured out how to gnaw and rip the green outside fabric without chewing on the more durable netting layer inside, so she had this toy finished within 2 hours. Definitely not chew-proof! I would not buy this product again.

I have purchased many a toy for my mothers chihuahua and while this one isn't truly indestructible it has lasted longer than any other plush chew toy that I've purchased. This one is a replacement for the prior one. The original is beginning to show wear after nearly 5 months of constant wear and tear.

Took my Weimaraner about 15 seconds to remove the squeaker from the middle of this toy. We use it now as a tug toy. It's pretty sturdy, but if they want it to be chew proof, they'll have to find a better way to protect the squeaker in it.
