We recently had our toy poodle tested for allergies after months of trying to find a food he could eat. It came down to Ziwi peak, Nature's Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient or Halo turkey & chickpeas. After trying Ziwi with terrible results as well as Halo which had a pretty strange texture and way too wet for a dog, we turned to NVI limited ingredient lamb. It is the only food in the 8 months since we have had him that has worked! Within 2 weeks he was on it completely which was a first with any food. I wanted to give him treats as well but was hesitant since he is so sensitive and has so many allergies so I was using the dry kibble of this food as his treats. I wanted a little bigger treat though that would keep him occupied that we could put in his little kong. Amazon has the best price on these treats of anywhere I checked so I figured I would give it a try. Not only does Mitchell love them but they love him back without any problems whatsoever. It is so wonderful to finally have him on a food and treat that he can enjoy without any kind of reactions at all. He is even able to eat the duck limited ingredient food as well without any problems and we are thrilled that we can rotate between the two proteins. With these as his "big treat" and the 2 flavors of canned food, we are all very happy.

Both my Boston Terriers love these and beg for them every morning....one of the dogs is very allergic to many things, but he no problem with these as they don't have chicken or grains. In fact, my dogs eat Nature's Variety Instinct food now as well, and eat better than ever!

They're just little bones but our Golden Retriever finds them irrisistable! You'd think they were pieces of raw steak. They also travel well and are less messy than moist treats.

Only reason not 5 stars is not easy to break @ all and I have a 10 lb shitzu. She enjoys these and they meet her LID but am looking at other products for her rewards. They're food is outstanding though.
