The bones are smoked. The break apart into smaller bones fairly easy. The dogs continue to chew on the bones for months. One bone will Last one dog @ six months are longer. Great for satisfying their chew instincts. I bought 4 bones. I have 6 large dogs in various pens. As I move them around to different pens the bones stay.
