These claim to be as nutritionally complete as pellets, but my birds enjoy them much more. They are a quality food and, therefore, a bit pricey. To avoid the waste of them accidentally dropping the little balls through the cage floor grate (which tends to happen easily), I crush them before giving them to my birds. They are easy to crush by hand and I will sometimes crush the whole container in advance while watching television. I also make sure to feed my birds lots of fresh green vegetables and herbs, brown rice, quinoa, some whole grains and a little fruit for a complete and varied diet.

My birds all like Nutri Berries. They are basically seed based though and my Vet recommends pellets so I offer both to all of my birds and the Avian Vet was ok with that.Buy Classic Nutri-Berries for Parakeets 12.5 oz Tub Now
Nutriberries are a great food! Leave them in the ball shape, or grind into smaller pieces, they are good for all birds. As Nutriberries come in many shapes and flavors, I recommend Nutriberries to all bird owners.Read Best Reviews of Classic Nutri-Berries for Parakeets 12.5 oz Tub Here
