It is not very durable. Our 30 lb one year old dog chewed through it with little effort. Very disappointed. This is her favorite type toy to play catch with.

We don't give our dog treats; they make her sick. But this ball would be great for a problem-solving dog to get treats tucked inside. It does also throw nicely, though our dog (65-pound Lab) has gotten it stuck on her teeth while retrieving. It's also a bit thin, and I'm concerned it won't hold up during tug-of-war.

I found the holes to be too big for treats; unfortunately, she is not a ball playing dog, so I lose out on both issues. I probably would not buy again.
