Gave one to my mid-size dog. Took him 5 minutes to chew through the rawhide and had large pieces come off. Inside the rawhide there were small chips that fell out once end was chew through. NOT SAFE!!!!

I have a puppy that loves these! They are really big, so they last forever!I have read that only dogs that gnaw should be allowed these types of bones. My dog doesn't break off pieces easily, so he just chews and chews for hours! I will continue to buy this product throughout the life of my dog!
