I have a 12 year old Aussie Shepherd who has quite a sensitive stomach along with a couple of congenital issues which includes a narrowing of his intestine. This, along with his ability to ingest sand, left me paying large vet bills to relieve his constipation. One vet felt his prostate was very enlarged causing pressure on his bowel creating another blockage. She also diagnosed arthritis along his lower back between his hips and his tail which she felt would make it painful for the dog to 'assume the position' for a bowel movement. Short of immediate neutering and putting psyllium in his food she felt there was nothing else she could do for him.

I found Prospet on line and read good reviews about it. The product is expensive but I was out of options. I bought the 3 pack and have just opened the third bottle. I have been using the product twice a day at 12 drops at a time now for about 8 months. For the first month I had problems with sometimes too loose of a stool, then too small and hard of a stool, but always he was able to get it out, something I have a thousand dollars worth in vet bills to prove that hasn't always been the case. By the second month he/we had him regulated and I haven't had a problem since. Very impressive. I will be reordering soon.
