These are great for dogs that aren't big chewers. I had a dog who didn't enjoy chewing bully sticks anymore after losing most of his teeth (his teeth were half missing when I got him). Chew-a-Bulls were the answer ground up bully sticks mixed with cornstarch and whatever. (They smell as bad as regular bully sticks, lol). He LOVES them and can gnaw a 12inch stick down in an hour or two. I usually take it away when it gets down to 2 inches so he doesn't just swallow the last chunk.
The Red Barn "Natural" Bully Sticks (not Chew-a-bulls) are the pizzle sticks the prior reviewer is looking for that is what is listed as the only ingredient. They were very long lasting for several of my dogs, much better than standard rawhide, and better bully stick quality than the store brand sticks we tried.

I purchased these at a big-box petstore locally and I was rather miffed to discover that these are not what they appear. I expected bull pizzles, but it seems all of the "Red Barn" brand Chew-A-Bulls are reconstituted and not real pizzles. They have gone to great lengths to make the product look like a real bull pizzle, but they are not the real thing and do not last like the real thing. I knew something was wrong when my dog had devoured it within minutes. Close inspection revealed flashing from the mold used to form them and the ends were smooth and uniform, unlike a real pizzle.Bull pizzles aren't particularly cheap, and neither are the cheap imitations like these.
I truly felt like I had been deliberately deceived, enough so to warn others.
