Our dogs love Beneful treats. The stars and Hugs are their favorites. Stars are big enough that I can break one in half for both our small breed dogs and they are very affordable compared to other doggie snacks. The brand has not been connected to any illnesses in pets that I am aware of so I feel like these are safe for consumption by our pets. Our toy fox terrier is finicky at times but she does not turn down Stars or Hugs from Beneful.

I buy lots of dog treats. My dogs seemed to like this one. Within a couple of days of eating them my beagle started passing the foulest gas. Then my dachsund mix threw up the most nasty smelling vomit. I work around a lot of gross things in a hospital but I can say this is one of the only times a smell almost brought me to puking.I threw out my supply of treats which were the only new thing in their diets. DON'T BUY THEM if you value clean air and/or your sanity.
